ЁЯНУ Fruit Market Day at Mini Miracle: A Juicy Learning Experience for Little Shoppers!
From tiny fruit vendors to curious little customers, the entire preschool came alive with laughter, learning, and the goodness of fruits.
ЁЯз║ Why a Fruit Market Day?
Children learn best through play and experience. So we recreated a real-life fruit market scenario right inside the preschool, helping children:
-
Learn names, colours, and shapes of fruits
-
Understand buying, selling, and value exchange
-
Practise communication and role play
-
Develop healthy eating habits
-
Build numeracy and social skills
This event supported our goal of learning through exploration, with every child actively participating as a buyer, seller, or observer.
ЁЯЫТ How We Brought the Market to Life
Here’s a look at the engaging and fun-filled experience that unfolded at both our branches:
ЁЯНМ Role Play: Little Vendors and Buyers
Children dressed up as:
-
Fruit sellers, wearing aprons and manning colourful stalls
-
Little customers, carrying cloth bags and play money
-
Helpers, managing queues and assisting with “payments”
This interactive role play improved their language skills, boosted confidence, and gave them a peek into everyday life.
Real Fruits, Real Learning!
We displayed a wide range of real, fresh fruits such as:
-
Mangoes, bananas, guavas, pomegranates
-
Oranges, apples, papayas, grapes
-
Seasonal and local varieties
Children touched, smelled, and tasted the fruits. They learned:
-
Fruit names in English, Marathi, and Hindi
-
Different colours, textures, and smells
-
The importance of eating seasonal fruits
Counting with Coins
We gave children play money to “buy” fruits, helping them:
-
Count coins
-
Understand basic transactions
-
Learn the concept of value and exchange
This was an excellent introduction to early numeracy and money sense—practical life skills through fun!
Art, Rhymes, and More
To make the event even more enjoyable:
-
Kids made fruit baskets in craft time
-
Sang rhymes like “Fruit Salad” and “I Like to Eat Apples and Bananas”
-
Took part in fruit-tasting games and guess-the-fruit challenges
ЁЯУ╕ A Picture-Perfect Day
Our Fruit Market Day was full of smiles, giggles, and bright fruit displays.
We captured every moment—from kids arranging fruits to proudly “selling” them!

ЁЯНН What Children Learned
This wasn’t just a fun day—it was packed with life lessons:
-
Confidence through public speaking and role play
-
Healthy food awareness and good eating habits
-
Teamwork and sharing during setup and play
-
Math and language through pretend shopping
At Mini Miracle, we believe in celebrating everyday moments as opportunities to grow and learn.
Parents, Here's How You Can Extend the Learning:
-
Involve your child during real shopping trips
-
Encourage naming fruits at home in multiple languages
-
Talk about the benefits of different fruits
-
Let them help sort and wash fruits with you
This way, the learning continues beyond the classroom.
