Mini Miracle Preschool Celebrates Friendship Day with Warmth, Joy and Tiny Bonds of Love

In a heartwarming celebration of love, kindness, and togetherness, Mini Miracle Kids Preschool, with its two thriving branches in Jadhavwadi, Pune, celebrated Friendship Day with infectious energy and a message that friendship begins at the youngest age.

From colourful bands to group games, the entire school was abuzz with excitement as little learners came together to honour one of life’s most beautiful relationships—friendship.

A Day Dedicated to Little Friends

The day began with a special morning circle time, where teachers shared the meaning and value of friendship in simple, child-friendly terms. Using stories, puppets, and short videos, children learned that being a friend means being kind, helpful, and inclusive.

Many students enthusiastically shared stories of their best friends, expressing their feelings in their own sweet ways—some with words, others with hugs!

DIY Friendship Bands

The highlight of the event was the "Friendship Band Making Activity."
Each child created colourful handmade friendship bands using:

  • Ribbons, beads, stickers, smiley faces

  • Bright threads and paper cut-outs

They then exchanged these with their classmates, proudly tying them on each other’s wrists with joyful grins. This thoughtful activity taught children the joy of giving, and the beauty of simple gestures.

Group Games That Bond

Various team-building and cooperative games were organised throughout the day:

  • “Find Your Friend” Emoji Game

  • Friendship Circle Dance

  • Pass the Smile

  • Balloon Buddies Relay

These games helped foster team spirit, coordination, and cooperation, creating an environment of support and laughter. The preschool resonated with happy squeals and shared giggles.

Songs, Stories & Messages

Teachers narrated timeless tales of friendship like:

  • “The Rainbow Fish”

  • “Winnie the Pooh & Friends”

Children sang friendship-themed songs, including:

  • “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”

  • “The More We Get Together”

Each class also created a “Friendship Tree” display—where children added handprints or drawings of their friends, symbolising how different hearts come together to form a strong community.

Sharing is Caring: Special Snack Time

During snack break, the school encouraged sharing of food items. With hygiene and allergies in mind, a mini “sharing picnic” was held where children exchanged treats with friends, promoting generosity and gratitude.

Both branches of Mini Miracle captured the essence of the day through lively photographs and video snippets. Dressed in colourful clothes and cheerful accessories, the little ones looked picture-perfect with their handmade bands and bright smiles.
